Speaking to IQNA, Juma al-Atwani said while the axis of resistance is facing difficult conditions given what has happened in Lebanon and Palestine recently, the resistance fighter should remember that steadfastness, fortitude and perseverance are their main weapons against the Israeli regime.
He said the resistance fighters should use all their power and strengthen their morale in the fight against the occupation regime.
If they remain strong and determined, the Zionist enemy will feel weakened and fail to undermine the unity of the resistance front, he stated.
Al-Atwani referred to the recent martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and highlighted his heroism and bravery.
He said that martyrdom was Nasrallah’s dream since his youth and his dream finally came true in his 60s.
Elaborating on different aspects of the Hezbollah chief’s character, he said Nasrallah was a Quranic character and one who had been inspired by the teachings of Imam Hussein (AS) in confrontation with oppression, deviance and tyranny.
He was a humble person when praying to God and a courageous and unique commander on the battlefield, al-Atwani said.

He also underlined the role that Muslim countries could play in the fight against the Tel Aviv regime, regretting that some Arab and Muslim states have instead chosen the path of normalizing ties with the regime.
Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in a massive airstrike that Israel launched on southern Beirut on September 27 using American-supplied bunker-buster bombs.
Israel’s attacks come against the backdrop of escalated tensions between the Lebanese resistance movement and the occupying entity, which included the targeted killing of top Hezbollah commanders and the detonation of telecommunication devices belonging to the Muslim resistance group.
Israel has been targeting Lebanon since October 7 last year, when it launched a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.
Hezbollah has been responding to the aggression with numerous retaliatory operations, including one with a hypersonic ballistic missile, targeting the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Lebanese resistance movement has vowed to keep up its operations against Israel as long as the Israeli regime continues its Gaza war.
